League of Legends Patch 26.19 is now live, bringing a wide range of champion balance changes, Classic champion additions, item updates, Teleport adjustments, and a major batch of new Arena Augments.
With Worlds just one patch away, Riot Games is using 26.19 to make some of its first pro-focused Summoner’s Rift adjustments. At the same time, several champions are receiving buffs aimed at increasing their presence in regular games, while champions such as Nasus, Nocturne, Rumble, Ryze, Vi, and Twisted Fate are being toned down.
Classic League is also getting another major content drop, with Fizz, Graves, Nami, and Nautilus joining the mode. Three previously retired items—Cloak and Dagger, Moonflair Spellblade, and Zz’Rot Portal—are also returning.
Arena receives one of the biggest changes in the patch, including new Augments, three new Guests of Honor, balance adjustments, and several Augments brought over from Mayhem.
League of Legends Patch 26.19 Release Date
League of Legends Patch 26.19 was released on September 22, 2026.
The patch is particularly significant because Riot describes it as the first round of pro-focused Summoner’s Rift changes before the upcoming Worlds patch. The developers also noted that they are targeting some potential fringe picks for the tournament while reducing the power of individual meta outliers.
Patch 26.19 Key Highlights
Here are the biggest changes in the update:

Patch 26.19 Champion Changes
Patch 26.19 contains a relatively large set of Summoner’s Rift champion adjustments. The overall direction is split between buffs for underrepresented picks and nerfs for champions that Riot considers too strong or too influential heading into the Worlds patch.
Aatrox Buffs
Aatrox receives a small boost after losing some power from changes to Sundered Sky.
W – Infernal Chains
- Cooldown: 20 / 18 / 16 / 14 / 12 → 18 / 16.5 / 15 / 13.5 / 12 seconds
E – Umbral Dash
- Health heal ratio: 1.1% → 1.3% per 100 bonus health
The changes primarily improve Aatrox’s ability to repeatedly use his crowd control and sustain tools during extended fights.
Aphelios Buffs
Aphelios gets several weapon-specific buffs intended to give the hypercarry more room to operate.
Changes include:
- Calibrum: Moonshot damage increased from 70–160 to 80–170.
- Severum: Healing increased from 2–7.1%, scaling to 5–17.75%, to 2–8%, scaling to 5–20%.
- Gravitum: Its decaying slow now ends at 15% instead of 10%.
- Infernum: Duskwave cooldown reduced from 9–6 seconds to 8–5 seconds.
- Crescendum: Mini-Crescendum damage progression is improved, with the reduced-damage threshold beginning at the ninth chakram instead of the eighth.
These changes improve several parts of Aphelios’ kit rather than simply increasing one source of damage.
Aurora Buffs
Aurora receives buffs to waveclear and ultimate uptime.
E – The Weirding
- Base damage: 70 / 110 / 150 / 190 / 230 → 80 / 120 / 160 / 200 / 240
R – Between Worlds
- Rift duration:
- Rank 1: 1.75 → 2.25 seconds
- Rank 2: 2.5 → 2.75 seconds
- Rank 3 remains 3.25 seconds
Draven Buff
Draven’s base attack damage increases:
- 62 → 64 AD
Riot’s reasoning is that bot-lane role quests have increased gold income, reducing the relative impact of Draven’s Adoration advantage.
Elise Buffs
Elise receives improvements to both damage and attack speed.
Passive – Spider Queen
- Passive magic damage: 12 / 22 / 32 / 42 → 14 / 24 / 34 / 44
W – Skittering Frenzy
- Bonus attack speed: 60 / 75 / 90 / 105 / 120% → 70 / 85 / 100 / 115 / 130%
The changes should primarily help Elise clear jungle camps and maintain stronger damage output.
Fiora Buffs
Fiora gets more durability and stronger healing from her ultimate.
- Health growth: 99 → 105
- Grand Challenge heal range: 550 → 600
- Heal per tick increases from 18.75 / 25 / 31.25 (+15% bonus AD) to 20 / 26.25 / 32.5 (+17.5% bonus AD)
- Maximum heal increases from 375 / 500 / 625 (+300% bonus AD) to 400 / 525 / 650 (+350% bonus AD)
The goal is to make successful Grand Challenge executions more rewarding without directly increasing her basic 1v1 tools.
Kha’Zix Buffs
Kha’Zix receives several improvements designed to make his evolved abilities more flexible.
Passive – Unseen Threat
- Damage: 17–136 → 22–141
Evolved W – Void Spike
- Slow duration: 2 → 2.25 seconds
Evolved E – Leap
- Bonus range: +200 → +300
These changes give Kha’Zix more threat both before and after committing to an evolution path.
Lillia Buffs
Lillia receives both durability and crowd-control improvements.
- Base armor: 22 → 24
- R sleep duration: 2 → 2.5 seconds
The additional armor helps Lillia survive when entering fights, while the longer sleep gives her more time to create follow-up opportunities after landing Lilting Lullaby.
Lucian Adjustment
Lucian’s passive and Q are adjusted to better separate his mid and bot-lane tuning.
Passive – Vigilance
- Empowered on-hit damage: 15 (+20% AD) → 5 (+15% AD)
Q – Piercing Light
- Base damage: 80 / 115 / 150 / 185 / 220 → 90 / 130 / 170 / 210 / 250
This reduces the passive’s contribution while giving Lucian more direct Q damage.
Master Yi Adjustment
Master Yi’s Q cooldown refund is changed.
Q – Alpha Strike
- Cooldown refund on hit: now 1 second, rather than scaling downward with Ability Haste.
Riot expects limited impact on standard Summoner’s Rift but specifically points toward Mayhem and Arena interactions.
Nasus Nerf
Nasus’ Q damage is reduced:
Q – Siphoning Strike
- Bonus damage: 40 / 60 / 80 / 100 / 120 → 30 / 50 / 70 / 90 / 110
The intention is to make Nasus more vulnerable earlier in the game and delay some of his scaling power.
Nocturne Nerf
Nocturne’s ultimate cooldown increases:
R – Paranoia
- 140 / 115 / 90 → 160 / 130 / 100 seconds
This directly reduces how frequently Nocturne can threaten cross-map plays and use his ultimate as a repeated source of pressure.
Poppy Nerf
Poppy’s jungle clear is being reduced.
Q – Hammer Shock
- Maximum health damage cap against minions and monsters:
- 85 / 120 / 155 / 190 / 225
- → 70 / 105 / 140 / 175 / 210
Riot is targeting Poppy’s flexibility and jungle presence rather than removing her identity as a tank and counterpick.
Rumble Nerf
Rumble’s passive is adjusted with higher-level play in mind.
Passive – Junkyard Titan
- Overheat attack speed: 50–130% → 30–100%
- Monster damage cap: 65–150 → 90–175
This reduces his peak attack-speed pattern while giving him compensation against jungle monsters.
Ryze Nerf
Ryze receives a mixture of defensive compensation and offensive restrictions.
Base stats
- Armor growth: 4.2 → 4.7
Q – Overload
- Flux bonus damage: 25 / 50 / 75 / 100% → 15 / 40 / 65 / 90% increased damage
E – Spell Flux
- Mana cost: 35 / 45 / 55 / 65 / 75 → 40 / 50 / 60 / 70 / 80
The result is a trade-off: Ryze gains some durability while losing part of his amplified Flux damage and spending more mana on E.
Vi Nerf
Vi receives changes aimed at her durability and early-game efficiency.
Base AD
- 63 + 3.5/level → 61 + 3.9/level
Passive – Blast Shield
- Shield: 12% maximum health → 10% maximum health
The higher AD growth partially offsets the lower starting AD, while the shield reduction makes her less durable during early engagements.
Volibear Buffs
Volibear’s passive receives buffs supporting both AP and AD-oriented builds.
Passive – The Relentless Storm
- Attack speed per stack: 5% (+3% per 100 AP) → 5% (+4% per 100 AP)
- Lightning on-hit damage now also gains +20% bonus AD
—
World Atlas and Runic Compass Changes
Riot is changing the support item progression for melee supports.
Health
World Atlas / Runic Compass
- Health: 30 / 100 / 200 → 0 / 60 / 200
Health Regeneration
- Health regeneration: 25% / 50% / 75% → 50% / 75% / 75%
The idea is to move some of the item’s early defensive value away from flat health and toward health regeneration, particularly benefiting melee supports during sustained laning.
—
Top Lane Teleport Buffs
One of the most important system changes in Patch 26.19 affects Teleport.
Riot says the top-lane role quest has successfully encouraged top laners to skip Teleport in some games. Because of that, the developers want Teleport to provide more map influence for top-lane players.
Teleport Cooldown Changes
| TeleportBeforePatch 26.19 | ||
|---|---|---|
| Top Role Quest Free Teleport | 420 sec | 390 sec |
| Top Upgraded Unleashed Teleport | 330–240 sec | 300–210 sec |
| Non-Top Unleashed Teleport | 330–240 sec | Unchanged |
The distinction is important: these reductions specifically improve the top-lane version while leaving the non-top Unleashed Teleport unchanged.
What Does the Teleport Change Mean?
For top laners, the shorter cooldown can create more opportunities to:
- Return to lane after a difficult reset.
- Join objective fights.
- Respond to side-lane pressure.
- Split push without completely sacrificing team-fight access.
- Influence the map after completing the role quest.
This is a system-level attempt to give top lane more strategic influence without simply increasing champion stats.

League Classic Patch 26.19: Four New Champions
Patch 26.19 is another major update for League Classic.
Four champions have been added:
- Fizz
- Graves
- Nami
- Nautilus
These versions are based on older versions of the champions and are intended to recreate their historical kits rather than simply using their modern abilities.
Classic Fizz
Classic Fizz represents his 2011-era identity before his later rework.
His kit includes:
- Passive: Nimble Fighter
- Q: Urchin Strike
- W: Seastone Trident
- E: Playful/Trickster
- R: Chum the Waters
One major difference is his older W passive, which deals additional damage over time based on the target’s missing health. His active W also applies Grievous Wounds.
Classic Graves
Pre-rework Graves returns as a traditional bot-lane ADC.
His Classic kit includes:
- Passive: True Grit
- Q: Buckshot
- W: Smokescreen
- E: Quickdraw
- R: Collateral Damage
True Grit gives Graves stacking Armor and Magic Resistance while in combat, while Buckshot provides the close-range burst associated with his older design.
Classic Nami
Nami’s Classic version is based around her early kit.
Her abilities include:
- Passive: Surging Tides
- Q: Aqua Prison
- W: Ebb and Flow
- E: Tidecaller’s Blessing
- R: Tidal Wave
One notable difference for players familiar with modern Nami is that the Classic E buff is attack-only.
Classic Nautilus
Classic Nautilus brings back his older version from the early years of League.
His kit includes:
- Passive: Staggering Blow
- Q: Dredge Line
- W: Titan’s Wrath
- E: Riptide
- R: Depth Charge
The older ultimate is less disruptive to enemies hit during the traveling portion compared with the modern version.

League Classic Item Returns
Patch 26.19 also brings back three items selected through the previous League Classic Council process.
Cloak and Dagger
- Recipe: Cloak of Agility + Dagger
- Cost: 1,130 gold
- Attack Speed: 20%
- Critical Strike Chance: 20%
- Unique Passive: 35% Tenacity
Its Tenacity is shared with Mercury’s Treads, Zephyr and the other relevant Classic item.
Moonflair Spellblade
- Recipe: Seeker’s Armguard + Negatron Cloak
- Cost: 2,300 gold
- Ability Power: 50
- Armor: 50
- Magic Resistance: 50
- Unique Passive: 35% Tenacity
Zz’Rot Portal
- Recipe: Chain Vest + Negatron Cloak + Rejuvenation Bead
- Cost: 2,700 gold
- Armor: 50
- Magic Resistance: 50
- Health Regeneration: 5 per 5 seconds
- Active duration: 150 seconds
- Active cooldown: 150 seconds
Zz’Rot Portal creates a Void gate that periodically sends Voidlings down the nearest lane.
These items are particularly interesting because they don’t simply add more conventional stats—they bring back older item identities that played a very different role in League’s strategic landscape.

New Arena Augments in Patch 26.19
The biggest Arena attraction is the new Augment pool.
Archmage
Casting an ability refunds the cooldown of another randomly selected ability by 30% of the cast ability’s cooldown.
Crit N Cast
Gain Ability Haste equal to 40% of Critical Strike Chance.
Death Dealer
Replaces Flee.
Activate on an enemy champion to enter the Death Realm for 4 / 8 seconds, becoming invisible for the first two seconds.
At max level, killing the target provides the team another revive while delaying the slain player’s revive by one second.
Got That Dog In Em
Every three seconds, a nearby hot dog appears.
Anyone can pick it up and breathe fire. Enemies who pick it up can damage their own allies, and dying while breathing fire causes an explosion.
Hellbent
Players build Revivemaxxing stacks by hitting enemy champions.
At maximum stacks, Hellbent provides a resurrection effect followed by a temporary offensive and mobility boost.
Nature Is Healing
Entering brush heals you based on level and missing health, with a separate cooldown for each brush patch.
Rite of Ascension
Takedowns can leave behind Essence. Consuming it provides:
- A movement-speed burst
- Healing
- Reset basic ability cooldowns
- A blink to the Essence location
Shark Bait
After taking fatal damage, the player enters a temporary zombie state with:
- 400 movement speed
- Ghosting
- 40% slow around nearby enemies
- Invulnerability and untargetability
At the end, a shark emerges and deals magic damage while knocking enemies up.
Sonata
Automatically alternates between modified versions of Sona’s healing/shielding ability and movement-speed ability.
Surge Field
Casting an ultimate creates a zone that grants:
- 50 Ability Haste
- 40% bonus movement speed
- Additional missile damage from damage dealt to enemy champions
Titan’s Resolve
Dealing and receiving champion damage generates Juggernauting stacks. Every 10 stacks provides Adaptive Force, Armor, Magic Resistance, size and Tenacity.
Warlock Juicebox
Grants Omnivamp based on Ability Power.
Wee Woo Wee Woo
Provides increased movement speed toward low-health allies and increases healing and shielding based on the target’s missing health.
—
Arena Augment Adjustments
Several existing Augments also receive changes.
Angel of Retribution
- Health scaling ratio: 350 → 450
Chroma Flux
- Rarity: Prismatic → Gold
Giant Slayer
Damage bonuses are reduced across all three ranks.
Protein Shake
- Base health scaling: 15 → 25
Scavenger
- Gold: 500 → 1,000
Spellcraft
- Cooldown: 15 → 10 seconds
- Base damage: 100 → 150
Riot also increases maximum bonus energy regeneration based on missing health from 100% to 400%.
—
New Arena Guests of Honor
Three new Guests of Honor arrive in Patch 26.19.
Ivern
When a team loses a round, a brush appears at each defeated player’s location and remains for the rest of the game.
Senna
Three portals to the Death Realm appear, allowing players to enter and return through the available portals.
Thresh
While downed, Thresh periodically throws a lantern to allies. The lantern provides a shield and allows an ally to click it to reach the downed player.
—
Team Voice Delayed
Team Voice was originally planned to expand to North America and Oceania in Patch 26.20.
Riot has now postponed the rollout after additional testing. The developers did not provide a new target patch, saying they want to address quality issues before releasing the feature more broadly.
This means players should not expect the wider Team Voice rollout in Patch 26.20 based on the current announcement.
—

Four skins are scheduled for release with Patch 26.19 on September 23, 2026:

Some notable fixes include:

What Patch 26.19 Means for the Meta
Patch 26.19 has a clear pre-Worlds identity.
Rather than introducing a massive gameplay overhaul, Riot is making targeted changes to champions that could matter at high levels of play while simultaneously improving weaker or less-visible picks.
The top-lane Teleport reduction is one of the more important system changes because it affects map movement rather than a single champion. Top laners who complete their role quest can now access their upgraded Teleport more frequently, potentially making split pushing and cross-map responses more practical.
The champion changes also show a deliberate attempt to balance professional viability with ordinary play. Ryze, Nocturne, Rumble, Vi and Twisted Fate are being restricted in areas that contribute heavily to their high-level effectiveness, while champions such as Aphelios, Kha’Zix, Lillia and Volibear receive targeted improvements.
Meanwhile, Classic continues to become a substantial parallel experience rather than a small nostalgia feature. The addition of four more champions and three resurrected items gives players significantly more historical League content to explore.
Arena is taking a different approach altogether. Its new Augments are designed around highly unusual mechanics—Death Realm duels, resurrection effects, sharks, brush healing, portals, automatic Sona abilities and more. That makes Patch 26.19 particularly relevant for players who spend most of their time outside standard Summoner’s Rift.

Final Thoughts
League of Legends Patch 26.19 is a transitional update with three very different identities.
On Summoner’s Rift, Riot is preparing the game for Worlds with targeted balance changes and a stronger focus on professional-level outliers. The top-lane Teleport adjustment is also an important systemic change that could affect how players approach side lanes and map movement.
In League Classic, the return of Fizz, Graves, Nami and Nautilus adds another layer of historical League gameplay, while the return of Cloak and Dagger, Moonflair Spellblade and Zz’Rot Portal expands the Classic item pool.
And in Arena, the focus is experimentation. New Augments such as Death Dealer, Shark Bait, Hellbent and Surge Field significantly expand the kinds of builds and gameplay patterns players can create.
With the Worlds patch coming next, Patch 26.19 is also an important snapshot of Riot’s direction heading into the biggest competitive stage of the season.
